Under general supervision of the Director – Game Management and Operations the Game Management Assistant will help with the regular functions and procedures of all home athletic events for the university’s intercollegiate sports.
High school diploma or equivalent education plus six months to one year of related experience is required.
Graduated with a standard high school or the equivalent and two years experience related to key roles and responsibilities. Preferred graduation from an accredited institution with an Associate degree and 2 years experience in related field.
Knowledge of WAC, NCAA and Utah Valley University policy and procedures.
Knowledge of Intercollegiate NCAA Division I athletics.
Knowledge of scorer table duties for sporting events.
Skill in customer service.
Skill in interpersonal communication.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to supervise, train and coordinate event staff.
Ability to research, rationalize and resolve game management issues and questions.
Ability to work well within a team environment yet comfortable completing tasks independently.
Ability to work hard with a positive attitude.
