Detailed Job Description
Teach full-load of Medical Terminology classes per semester, serve as the Department's liaison to the E-Learning office, attend workshops on e-learning, share updates and information on a variety of e-learning and LMS topics with KNH faculty, assist KNH faculty with developing, maintaining, and upgrading online and hybrid classes; other duties as directed by Department Chair.
Masters (for appointment as Instructor); Ph.D. (for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor); with earned degree in Health, Kinesiology, Education, or related field; developing and teaching proficiency of a college level Medical Terminology online course; experience working with multicultural and/or diverse populations; previous experience in developing, implementing, and teaching online courses using the LMS Niihka and/or Canvas.
Experience with innovative teaching technologies, including development of online or hybrid courses; international experience.
