Bachelor's degree in automotive technology or subject directly related preferred; GM Certified/ASE master certification with L1 preferred; Teaching experience with high school students and HS articulation agreements preferred; Certification in appropriate content areas related to automotive technology preferred; Community college or public school teaching experience preferred; Ability to incorporate computer-aided instruction, PowerPoint, the internet, and other technologies in the classroom, to advise students to meet their goals, and to work effectively with a culturally and educationally diverse student population essential; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
Teaches courses as assigned by the Division Dean; Participates in student assistance/advisement; Maintains office hours; Participates in college service activities (i.e. college committees, meetings, activities, etc.) Participates in community service and professional development activities.
