Detailed Job Description

The Department of Biological Sciences at Quinnipiac University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure line Assistant Professor in Human Anatomy & Physiology beginning in August 2012. The term appointment is a one year teaching position with no expectation of service and research commitments. Term positions may be renewed based upon the needs of the Department.

Job Duties

Teaching assignments will include courses in human anatomy and physiology populated by science majors. Laboratories include a detailed study of human anatomy utilizing both cat (and human) cadaveric dissection. All faculty at Quinnipiac University are expected to periodically teach in the University Seminar series.

Required Minimum Qualifications

The minimum credentials are a master's degree in Anatomy/Physiology or closely related field; a PhD is strongly preferred. A proven record of excellence in teaching in university-level lectures and laboratories is required.
