Detailed Job Description
To provide vision, leadership, strategic enrollment planning, and oversight of student recruitment strategies and efforts for the regional campuses and locations of Miami University. Manage and coordinate the offices of admission, financial aid, records and registration, and one stop enrollment center to provide outstanding student service on the Miami University Regional Campuses.
Analyzes and evaluates strategic and targeted recruitment and enrollment needs. Creates long and short term planning and evaluation of recruitment and enrollment strategies, programs, policies, and resource management.
Employs a data-driven approach to enrollment planning, including a disciplined system of reporting, planning, and decision-making.
Coordinate the regional one stop enrollment center in conjunction with Records, Financial Aid, and Bursar Services.
Coordinate and assist with the recruitment of international students for English Language Center (ELC)
Assists in the development of communication and marketing strategies for a variety of student market segments that address prospective and current students, program and enrollment processes, and pre-enrollment phases of the regional admission process in conjunction with Public Relations and Marketing.
Ensures recruitment, enrollments, and retention objectives, goals, budgets, policies, practices, and actions produce successful results consistent with the overall mission and strategic plans of Miami University and the regional campuses.
Grow enrollments in winter and summer terms, online courses, and specific student populations including transfer students, student veterans, and adult learners.
Analyzes regional, national, and global market trends as well as current and anticipated demands for particular programs.
Advocates for and champions progressive and positive change through collaboration with faculty, staff and community members to achieve recruitment and enrollment objectives and identify and remove barriers that may impede students' academic success.
Chairs the Regional Strategic Enrollment Team (RSET).
Serves on the Dean's Executive Council
Other duties as assigned by the Associate Provost and Regional Campus Dean
Master's degree and five years of management experience in enrollment management, admissions, financial aid, registration, or related areas within higher education.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Advanced knowledge of appropriate software and social media tools, demonstrated effective analytical and goal settings skills and proven results in achieving organizational objectives
Doctorate in enrollment management, admissions, financial aid, registration, or related areas within higher education.
