Under direct supervision the research assistant will be extracting public records from a sampling of small claim courts in Utah, and creating a database of these documents.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a field of study directly related to the research subject or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling four years.
Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal studies or an Associate’s degree in Paralegal studies along with 2 years working experience in a law office.
Knowledge of paralegal duties of working with various Judicial Districts, and legal procedures.
Skill and experience in creating databases.
Skill in analyzing legal documents.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of documents.
Ability to write in a legal format.
