Detailed Job Description

Serves as Compliance/VA Certifying Official for the university. Advises all students receiving Veterans’ Administration educational benefits from initial entrance testing through to graduation. Monitors and tracks all course work taken by students and is responsible for maintaining appropriate and accurate records as required by administrative regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree and two years professional experience in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or any combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling four years. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge

Knowledge of content and curriculum.
Knowledge of Veterans Educational Benefits regulations.
Knowledge of student advisement methods and techniques.
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets and database software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Banner.
Knowledge of filing and records management.

Skills

Pay Range

$27,051 to $33,814 annually
