PART-TIME COLLEGE SUCCESS SEMINAR INSTRUCTOR FOR METHUEN HIGH SCHOOL: (Division of Liberal Arts Foundational Studies & Liberal Arts and Sciences) (DCE MCCC/MTA Unit Position) Fall 2014.

Teach the NECC College Success Seminar (CSS101) for Methuen High School students in the fall semester at the high school. Participate in curriculum training for CSS101.  Attend one parent/teacher conference.

Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 7:30am-8:50am, September 4 to December 17, 2014.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Education or related field with prior experience teaching at the college level.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school teaching experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of MA/NH core standards for grades 10-11, especially Language Arts
  • Attendance at CSS training at NECC within the past three semesters.

Note: CORI check required



Salary: $920.00 per credit hour for Step I. For step 2 and higher, commensurate increase in salary.
