Under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, supports faculty, staff, and department operations by procuring, maintaining, delivering, fabricating, and assembling equipment, props, tools, facility needs, and supplies necessary for the continuation and progression of Emergency Services programs.
High school diploma or equivalency and three years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to three years. Technical or vocational degree may substitute for experience.
Must maintain a valid Driver License, welding skills, and ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Commercial Driver License preferred.
Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
Knowledge of mechanical operations, standard repair procedures and techniques, and hydraulic systems.
Skill with managing and prioritizing multiple projects and assignments.
Skill in interpersonal communication.
Skill in problem-solving, and decision-making.
Ability to effectively communicate verbally, non-verbally, and in writing.
Ability to operate wire, arc, and oxyacetylene welders and associated tools and materials used in fabrication.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to maintain accurate records and files.
