Under general supervision of the Foundation Senior Accountant, provides accounting support for the UVU Foundation. The primary duties include reconciling accounts, managing the due diligence process for gift-in-kind donations, and assisting with monthly reconciliation of payroll and credit card donations.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a closely related field and one year of experience related to the Summary of Duties or any combination of education and/or experience as described above totaling three years.
Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree and 1 years’ experience; OR a combination of education and experience totaling 3 years accounting experience related to the essential duties.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and Power Point. Knowledge of creating reports and navigating and researching databases.
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure, multitask and complete projects and assignments by the appointed deadlines.
Ability to work as a team member within a large organization with diverse constituencies and rapidly shifting priorities and deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail abilities.
