Description of Duties:
Responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and managing on-campus events in support of the Undergraduate Admission department's student recruitment and yield goals. This position also supports the core recruitment and selection and yield process of the department.
Additional Description of Duties: Working with the Director of Undergraduate Marketing and Programs as well as other on-campus departments:
-Coordinates the development and execution of on-campus events to support recruitment and yield goals.
-Manages on-campus events including, but are not limited to the Open House, Women's Dinner, ALANA events, Veterans Day and Guidance Counselor events.
-Performs admission responsibilities such as interviewing students, recruitment and yield travel, file review, and customer service.
-Assesses admission applications, renders decisions and participates in scholarship selection.
-Provides customer service to prospective students, parents, guidance counselors, and other constituents via phone, email and in-person.
-Represents Bentley at a variety of on and off campus forums (information sessions, yield receptions, etc.).
MA/MS Degree or the equivalent plus 1-3 years of related experience or a BA/BS Degree plus 2-4 years of related experience. Previous event planning and undergraduate admission experience preferred.
Requires organizational and analytical abilities, solid communication skills, computer competency, the ability to multitask and the ability and sensitivity in dealing with diverse populations.
Must believe in the value of a higher education, motivate all members of an office with varying levels of experience and have the capacity to articulate those benefits to the public.
License(s) Required for the Position: Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license
