Description of Duties:
Serves as an essential member of the Office of Undergraduate Admission by managing and executing the timely delivery of admission communications; including printed collateral, emails, web content and social media. Supports the communication needs of regional team leaders by providing materials related to regional programs and events and the core recruitment, selection and yield process of the department.
Additional Description of Duties: Working with the Director of Undergraduate Marketing and Programs as well as the Marketing & Communications department:
-Coordinates the delivery of admissions materials to be used for search, recruitment and yield purposes.
-Edits communications to ensure accuracy and delivery of intended messages. Responds to requests for information from catalogs, etc. Updates Bentley data.
-Supports counselors with the provision of communication, marketing materials for distribution to prospective and accepted students.
-Ensures all admission counselors are utilizing designated presentations and communications in the proper forums.
-Performs traditional admissions responsibilities such as interviewing students, recruitment travel, file review, and customer service.
-Assesses admission applications, renders decisions and participates in scholarship selection.
-Provides customer service to prospective students, parents, guidance counselors, and other constituents via phone, email and in-person.
-Represents Bentley at a variety of on and off campus forums (information sessions, yield receptions, etc.).
MA/MS Degree or the equivalent plus 1-3 years of related experience or a BA/BS Degree plus 2-4 years of related experience. Previous marketing and undergraduate admission experience preferred.
Requires organizational and analytical abilities, solid communication skills, computer competency and the ability to multitask. Must be able to motivate all members of an office with varying levels of experience and belief in the value of a higher education and the capacity to articulate those benefits to the public.
License(s) Required for the Position: Valid, unrestricted U.S. driver's license.
