Manages operational duties and functions of the program. Plans, supervises, and monitors various program activities that includes database management, research, and documenting information associated with conflict transformation, peace-building, and sustainability development of political, social, environmental influences on society. Develops a database to store select information related to the program purpose. Recommends strategic ways to plan and use knowledge gathered from research stored in the database where information can be accessed and shared with various constituents and organizations. Updates research by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience related to the Summary of Duties or any combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling seven years.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree plus three years of experience related to the Summary of Duties or any combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties or concentration in sustainable development, conflict transformation, peace and justice studies totaling seven years.
Prefer experience in database technology and writing grants.
Previous supervisory experience is also preferred.
Knowledge of database technology and operations.
Knowledge of sustainable development theory, practice, and organizations.
Knowledge of conflict transformation theory, practice and organizations.
Knowledge of grant writing strategies.
Skill in the development and use of research protocols.
Skill in developing databases.
Skill in grant writing.
Skill in the development and use of budgets.
Skill in the use of Microsoft Office.
Ability to think critically.
Ability to communicate both verbal and in writing.
Ability to multitask complex concurrently.
Ability to work under deadlines with a variety of agents.
