Detailed Job Description

Responsible for implementation, administration, and top-tier support of enterprise information technology systems related to faculty, student learning, and other academic application.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree plus three to five years of related experience, including two years of supervisory experience OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling at least seven years.

Preferred Qualifications

Working understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby), Javascript, Advanced SQL
Working knowledge of Banner Student Information System.

Knowledge

Knowledge of instructional, multimedia,and distance learning technology usage in an academic setting, including Canvas, Equella, Kaltura and/or other academic learning system technology.
Demonstrated experience in the management,
delivery, and support of academic technology, especially enterprise systems.
Knowledge of SQL/Database queries.
Knowledge of web browsers and web technologies such as cloud services, HTML5, Flash, RESTful API’s, etc.
Understanding of student information systems such as Banner.

Skills

Skilled at communicating clearly and diplomatically with diverse teams.
Skilled in planning, implementing, and evaluation of technical support services.
Excellent decision-making and problem solving skills.

Able to use and maintain a variety of educational learning technologies including course management systems.
Able to adapt quickly and effectively to a dynamic environment.

Pay Range

$48,117 to $64,157 annually
