Works with outreach advisors, school personnel, & parents in selecting program participants.
Assist in creating newsletters & disseminates promotional materials.
Work with students & various college personnel to encourage enrollment.
Monitors the implementation of structured & calendared guidance activities mandated by the program.
Keep parents, educators, & participants aware of activities, programs, & individual student’s participation.
Audits participant files for accuracy, completeness, & confidentiality.
Gather and analyze data and provide feedback for monthly and annual reports.
Evaluates monitoring of students’ responses to guidance activities.
Serves as the liaison with the outreach advisors, participating in training, monitoring, and solving personnel problems.
Keep current on job related issues to improve the Educational Talent Search Program.
Other duties as assigned by the director.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with an bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Knowledge

Knowledge of TRiO Program.
Knowledge of educational and career advisement techniques and activities.

Knowledge

Pay Range

$26,158 to $34,877

An individual who meets at least one of the following criteria may apply for this position as an in-house applicant:

-Adjunct faculty status for at least two full semesters immediately prior to the position’s opening date, OR

-Non-Student Part-time hourly employee hired through the official University screening process, or informal hiring process employed a minimum of 6 consecutive months, working at least an average of 20 hours per week, immediately prior to the position’s opening date, OR

-Salaried employee employed a minimum of 6 consecutive months, working at least an average of 30 hours per week, immediately prior to the position’s opening date.
