Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Donor Relations,oversees the university’s comprehensive Foundation gift acknowledgement process. Develops methods to acknowledge and engage donors. Collaborates with Development officers to strengthen donor engagement.Tracks and reports donor moves within the President Circle and oversees mailing lists for Donor Engagement events and publications. Travels to various donor events as required.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in directly related field of study or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year of experience directly related to the Summary of Duties OR any combination of education and experience related to the Summary of Duties totaling five years. Current driver’s license required.
Knowledge of methods and techniques for preparing and analyzing budgets and expenditures.
Knowledge of accounting and reporting practices, particularly with donor relations, stewardships, or donor engagement related to higher learning.
Knowledge of public fundraising practices, methods, and legal guidelines.
Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
Strong skill with MS Office, particularly with Excel.
Strong interpersonal communications skills with particular emphasis on donor appreciation.
Preference given to those with knowledge of Banner Finance program.
Ability to pay acute attention to detail.
Ability to effectively create, compose, and edit written materials and correspondence.
Ability to manage records and databases.
Ability to work well in groups within large organizations with diverse constituencies, rapidly changing priorities and tight deadlines.
