Detailed Job Description

The basic functions of the position are to provide overall support for the Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence department including support of all department staff members, student workers, interns, and all university faculty and staff.

Specific Duties

Manage general daily tasks of the department including managing helpdesk telephone traffic, managing helpdesk email responses, managing calendars, purchase orders, record keeping , and general communication.
Arrange travel and conference registrations for all staff.
Arrange department events as needed including workshops, teaching symposia, guest speakers, academic technology events as well as hosting regional and national conferences.
Assist in the preparation of department research and reports, publications, and presentations.
Support faculty and staff with instruction on use of instructional technologies including the LMS, screencasting, video capturing and editing, ePortfolio creation, among others.
Coordinate with student workers and other department staff the completion of CAFÉ projects including poster creation, graphics design tasks, among other services provided by the CAFE.
Manage the CAFÉ webpage on the website and coordinate the online presence of the CAFÉ in other internet-based locations.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma and three years of related experience.
