Teaches a full range of lecture and lab credit courses in Massotherapy program such as theory and practice of massage.
High School Diploma with at least three years teaching experience. Must have a current State Medical Board of Ohio massage license and have practiced under that license for a minimum of three years. Must have flexibility to teach either day or evening/weekend courses from semester to semester.
Willingness to learn and/or have experience in the use of instructional technologies to teach traditional, hybrid and/or distance learning classes, and /or as a supplement
Knowledge and skills in a variety of computer usage and software applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Associate’s degree or higher from a recognized college or university in basic sciences or related field. Advanced Massotherapy training, with CEU’s documented in MFR and Neuromuscular Release Methodologies, including Trigger Point Therapy. Demonstrated teaching experience.

This is a part-time (adjunct) faculty position. Part-time faculty are compensated at a rate of $811 per Equated Semester Unit (i.e., approximately $2433 for a 3 credit hour course).
Adjunct faculty positions are ongoing pooled positions. Therefore, your materials will remain on file and be reviewed on an as needed basis for adjunct faculty positions throughout the academic year 2012-2013 (Fall, Spring and Summer Semester).
