The Associate Director, Student Activities supports the mission of the department and larger division by providing for the direction, administration and coordination of a vibrant, dynamic student activities program. The Associate Director will supervise two full time program coordinators charged with the advisement of campus wide programs and cultural activities that increase the opportunity for diverse interactions and holistic student development, late night student centered events and a performing arts and lecture series.
The Associate Director will assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive student activities leadership model as well as the assurance of overall program advisement for 100+ undergraduate student organizations.
As a student affairs professional, the Associate Director serves as a member of the Student Activities staff, providing leadership in the absence of the Director, assistance with departmental programs (Falcon Awards, Spring Day) and divisional initiatives (pride and tradition). Serves as a First Year Seminar facilitator.
