FULL-TIME SYSTEMS ANALYST I FOR IT CLIENT SERVICES: (Haverhill Campus or Lawrence Campus) 37.5 hours per week, normal work schedule will be Monday - Friday, hours to be determined by need. Travel between campuses is required. May be required to work evenings and weekends as necessary. (AFSCME Unit Position)
Assist students, faculty and staff in the use of the computer hardware and software. Install and move computer hardware. Install various software applications and operating systems. Maintain, troubleshoot, upgrade and repair desktop hardware, software and peripherals. Support desktop hardware, software and peripherals in a networked environment. Provide Helpdesk Support. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must have at least two years of full-time or equivalent part-time, professional experience in a technical support environment. Experience in a college setting is a plus. Strong knowledge of PC and MAC hardware and software, and the Internet is required. A good understanding of various PC applications is also necessary, including MS Office and Outlook. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems is mandatory as is the ability to handle multiple tasks and work with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Applicants must be conscientious and reliable, with strong telephone and interpersonal skills, a desire to learn, and the ability to follow instructions. Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Salary: $906.14-$1287.62 per week (47,119.28-$66,956.24) annually with fringe benefits. An appointment from outside the bargaining unit (AFSCME) must start at Step I of the range. (Step 1: $906.14)
