Detailed Job Description


The Vice President of Enrollment Management will be responsible for all aspects of recruitment, admissions, enrollment planning and marketing, with a focus on increasing enrollment, meeting net tuition revenue objectives, and increasing the geographical diversity of the applicant and matriculate pool.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED FROM:  The Vice President reports to the President and is a member of the President’s Council.           

SUPERVISION GIVEN TO WHOM:  The following departments will report to the VP of Enrollment Management:  Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar and Marketing



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field is required.  A Master’s degree coupled with higher education experience is preferred.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in an enrollment management capacity with a proven track record in successful recruitment, admissions, and enrollment planning, with a focus on increasing enrollment, achieving net tuition revenue objectives at a University.
  • Five years of senior level higher education experience is preferred with specific experience overseeing enrollment management, marketing and communications in the areas of student recruitment.
  • Experience in market research, web design, social media, e-communications, and project management systems will be highly regarded


  • Demonstrated business acumen
  • Exceptional written and communication skills
  • A proven portfolio illustrating successful branding and marketing campaigns within the higher education arena
  • Experienced in one or more of the departments directly related to enrollment


Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Foster effective collaboration for all marketing and communication activities in support of the University's strategic branding initiative.
  • Oversee the development of a consistent message and web presence for the University.
  • Production and placement of media advertising for recruitment, development of communication strategies and collateral for recruitment, alumni and development programs
  • Production and distribution of the Parker Life Magazine and the University’s Annual Report
  • Responsible for hands-on implementation of specific programs and projects.
  • Some evening and weekend work will be required.
