Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking an applicant for a post-doctoral position in the Rheumatology Division. The position entails measuring immune complexes in patients with lupus who will be phenotyped for CD4+ T cell activation markers using surface staining of CD25, CD69, and CD98hc. In addition to T cell activation, these samples will be analyzed for expression of Fc3RIIIa receptors. The data will then be correlated with clinical data on the lupus patients. Candidates should possess a Ph.D or MD degree with experience in cell studies and cell culture methods. The studies will be guided by Dr. Chauhan and Dr. Moore.
