Make appropriate decisions regarding the safety and playing ability of team members
In the absence of the head coach, schedule all practices and matches in accordance with Bentley, New England Rugby Football Union and USA Rugby guidelines and standards. Attend all practices and matches as deemed necessary by the head coach.
Represent Bentley University in a manner that is consistent with the mission of the University.
Ensure that all team members are in good academic standing, have filed the appropriate paperwork with the Office of Student Activities (Health statement, Liability and Indemnity Waiver, Anti-Hazing Form)
Be available to team members to counsel on matters relating to Women's Rugby and team morale.
Meet as needed with the appropriate staff in the Office of Student Activities and the Athletic Department.

Position Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus significant experience in coaching a competitive rugby team. Must possess certification as a coach, preferably by USA Rugby. Must be First Responder certified as determined by the American Red Cross.  

Special Instructions to Applicants

This position is from August through May, working 15-20 hours per week. The rate is $17.00 per hour.

Bentley University requires reference checks and may conduct other pre-employment screening.
