Responsible for teaching courses in the Electrical Automation & Robotics Technology program. The program offers associate’s degrees.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a terminal degree in a related academic field of study plus one year of teaching experience. Must have experience assessing student learning capabilities and learning styles and understand how to develop curriculum of assigned courses.
Teaching experience is preferred.
Advanced knowledge and experience using Allen-Bradley PLC programming.
Knowledge of motion control experience.
Knowledge and experience integrating DC and 3phase / 1phase motors in automated systems.
Skill using PLCs to control industrial AC/DC motors and systems.
Skill with the electronics for steppers, servos, and variable frequency drives.
Ability to design, build, and troubleshoot industrial electronic circuits.
Ability to design and build new electronic labs.
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
