Grade exams within appropriate timeframes
The Biology Department invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach an upper-level course in marine ecosystems (BIO 305), lecture and laboratory, including 3 field trips and a research vessel trip. The lecture meets Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 am to 12:45 pm and the lab section meets on Wednesdays from 1:30 pm to 4:20 pm. This course will start in August and end in December 2014.
A Ph.D. in Biology or related field is required and experience teaching at the undergraduate level is preferred. Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
