Faculty, Assistant Professor, Digital Media – JPF14814
Under the direction of the Department Chair, creates, teaches and assesses courses and will mentor students during the development, production, and post-production of digital cinema projects. Teaches and mentors students in “hands on” digital cinema storytelling and production classes and serves on departmental, college, university and/or film business committees as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited institution with a terminal degree in a related academic field of study plus one year of teaching experience. Must have experience assessing student learning capabilities and learning styles and understand how to develop curriculum of assigned courses.
Preferred Qualifications: M.F.A in Digital Film Production or a related field.
Avid Media Composer certification preferred.
