Under the direction of the Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success, the Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Enrollment Services will provide vision, creative leadership and direct oversight for the departments of undergraduate Admissions and Strategic Recruitment, Financial Aid and the Registrar’s Office. The AVP will lead the development of innovative strategies utilizing new technologies to ensure that these departments provide the highest level of student service and contribute to the College’s goals of recruitment, enrollment, and student success.
The AVP will supervise a large and complex enrollment service area with approximately 100 full-time and part-time employees. In addition to the supervision of enrollment services personnel, the AVP will manage departmental budgets, allocate personnel and fiscal resources, review and propose policies and policy changes for consistency with institutional needs and professional guidelines, and for compliance with federal and state statutes. The AVP will develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve student centeredness and incorporate quality management in student services. The AVP will develop and implement cutting-edge, long- and short-range strategic plans that align with the College’s strategic plan. The AVP will also participate in institutional planning and policy development related to enrollment, retention and student services.
