Responsibilities

Hours needed per week: 15-18 per week

Pay: 15 per hour

Dates: June 1-June 30th

The successful candidate will:
  • Provide overall administrative and office support to the Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing.    

  • Make space and equipment requirements and reservations for the Creative Writing & Reading Series and for other MFA events; and provide assistance with data entry, mailings and correspondence.

  • Update the Program website, online calendar, and social media regularly.

  • Handle routine administrative tasks including phones, filing, copying, and mailings.

  • Work in a highly collaborative and culturally diverse campus environment. 


  • Contribute to the mission of the College, which is informed, animated and expressed through its Catholic, Lasallian and Liberal Arts traditions.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the MFA Program in Creative Writing Mission.

  • Ability to handle confidential matters.

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, social media and internet technology.  

  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with all elements of a culturally diverse community; ability to cultivate and maintain partnerships with diverse individuals offices and programs.  

  • Understanding of and commitment to further the College's mission.
