The Director of Admissions serves as the school’s leader in all admissions related activity. S/he will oversee all areas of marketing, recruitment, enrollment management, and systems and operations for the programs in the Kalmanovitz School of Education. The Director of Admissions is responsible for:

  • Marketing strategy, advertising and communication materials, including the school website.
  • Enrollment management (through the use of Hobson’s CRM) and data analysis  relating to prospects, applicants and enrolled students.
  • Advertising, information sessions, off-campus events and other recruitment tactics.
  • The identification of new markets, such as direct feeder schools and/or out of state applicants.
  • Supervision of enrollment specialist (1.0 FTE) and business operations specialist (.5 FTE).
  • Collaboration with departmental recruiters and program assistants, chairs, and program coordinators on school-wide recruitment strategy, tactics and analysis of results. 
  • Other Duties As Assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Required: BA
  • Preferred: MA in counseling, education or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years experience in graduate admissions. 
  • Skills/Abilities: Excellent communication and leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal skills. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Strong knowledge of Hobson's CRM.
  • Required: Driver's License
  • Other Requirements: Ability to travel and work on evenings and weekends for recruitment events and conferences (such as NAGAP).
