Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Services within the division of Enrollment Management and Student Success (EMSS), the Director of Registration and Records has broad responsibility for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of registration and academic records for the college. The Director plays a central role in enrollment management strategy and planning and will provide vision and innovative leadership for the office. The Director collaborates with student service offices, faculty committees and academic departments across the college to provide high quality, student centered services and is a key resource to faculty, deans and administrators regarding student data, academic policies and best practices.
The director leads a staff of 32 and is responsible for directing the operations of a large and complex unit within the college and managing the following functions: course scheduling and registration for 10,500 students; management, maintenance and security of academic records; academic transcript processing; enrollment and degree verification; grading; degree audit; transfer credit evaluation; compliance with federal and state regulations and policies, including FERPA; records retention; and compliance with academic policies. The Director is responsible for improving student service by leading the office in the development of cutting edge technologies.
