Under the direction of the Department Chair, designs and teaches courses in nursing (didactic and clinical/lab) and plans and prepares approved courses of study with measurable objectives for each course. Participates in other activities in support of teaching/learning and program development (e.g., curriculum development, accreditation) as required.
Graduation from an accredited institution with a terminal degree in a related academic field of study plus one year of teaching experience or combination of education and experience in related field totaling nine years. Must have experience assessing student learning capabilities and learning styles and understand how to develop curriculum of assigned courses. May required any certifications and/or licensing as required by discipline.
