Position reports to the Dean of the School of Business and will teach 15 credit hours per week in an AAS Accounting certificate and degree program including computer based labs.
Responsibilities will also include advising students; developing and revising instructional materials and courses as appropriate; assisting in recommending and mentoring part-time faculty; remaining professionally current; building relationships with businesses and transfer college to be sure program requirements meet expected outcomes; and working with various college committees and student organizations as assigned. Instructors are expected to contribute to the Colleges assessment and outcomes guidelines. The instructor will maintain a minimum of 5 office hours per week. Instructional modalities include Web enhanced, on-line and hybrid courses with course delivery at alternate instructional sites. Both day and evening classes are scheduled. All other related duties as assigned by the Dean of the School of Business.
