Detailed Job Description

Responsible for the design, management, and implementation of the Employee Wellness Program. Plays an integral part in engaging the campus staff community and making them aware of health risks. Collaborates with health and wellness vendors to design and implement a meaningful Wellness Program that improves the health of employees.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in directly related field of study or a combination of education and experience totaling four years.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge

Knowledge of laws, regulations, methods, and techniques in the area of benefits and risk management.
Knowledge of healthcare processes and procedures.
Knowledge of the design and marketing of Wellness Programs.
Knowledge of federal and state statutes such as the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) and Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA).
Working knowledge of HTML.
Basic knowledge of statistical methods as related to healthcare.

Knowledge

Ability to plan and evaluate employee health and wellness programs.
Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex employee benefits issues.
Ability to analyze statistical data and generate reports.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work as a team member.
Ability to develop enthusiasm and excitement for employee wellness programs.
Ability to present information effectively to groups of various sizes.

Pay Range

$30,109 to $40,145 annually
