The College of Wooster seeks a joint appointment for 2014-2015, commencing August 2014, divided between the Departments of Africana Studies (2/3rds) and Political Science (1/3rd). Rank to be determined by strength of candidate's teaching experience and publications. Broad training in Africana Studies and Political Science, with focus on African politics required. Ability to teach introductory courses in Africana Studies, upper level courses in Africana Studies and African politics, and advise independent undergraduate study projects. Ph.D. expected by time of appointment, with preference given to candidates with previous independent teaching experience.
