Main Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to drive and conduct the research relating to a CIHR project and integrate the work with the other aspects of the project.
Qualifications: The candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Neurophysiology. Expertise in patch-clamp recording, single-channel recording, brain slice and cultured neurons preparation, stereotaxic surgery, and the use of cognitive tasks for rodents is essential. Additional expertise in optogenetics is an asset. Strong written and oral English communication skills and the ability to produce conference/journal publications independently and in a timely fashion are required.
