Detailed Job Description

Job Summary:

The full-time faculty member will teach online graduate Business and Health Care Management courses in the College of Business and Technology.  The faculty member will report to the Dean of Business.  Basic responsibilities include:

  • Teach graduate classes
  • Engage in curriculum development
  • Advise students
  • Support recruiting efforts
  • Demonstrate ongoing professional development (i.e. scholarly research, conference presentations, consulting)
  • Undertake community service in keeping with the University’s values


Minimum Qualifications:   

  • A Ph.D in Healthcare Management or Healthcare Administration from a regionally accredited institution with credentials to teach Business and Healthcare Management courses per accreditation guidelines
  • On-line teaching experience
  • Demonstrated ability to teach traditional and non-traditional age students
  • Demonstrated ability to use disciplined-related computer programs
