Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service is seeking to fill a dual faculty appointment in the Center for Outcomes Research (SLUCOR) and the department of Family and Community Medicine in the School of Medicine. Specific duties will include database analysis, statistical programming, teaching, developing research projects, assisting with grant development and innovative research techniques. This position will initially be primarily grant-funded. The successful candidate must have experience with high level statistical analysis and work with large databases, as well as applicable experience in grant writing and research proposals.
Applicants should possess the following: programming and database management skills, experience in the use of statistical software programs and experience in teaching of undergraduate or graduate students. Ideal candidates should have a PhD in social or biological sciences with an emphasis in statistics.
The position is 1.0 FTE academic appointment at the Assistant Professor level, reporting to the Director of SLUCOR and the Chair of Family and Community Medicine.
