Description of Duties:
This position provides operation support to the international function within the office of Undergraduate Admission. Maintain and update the Banner database with accurate file information relating to prospective international students and applicants interested in Bentley University via the Banner System/ImageNow. Review received credentials from applicants and/or high schools for authenticity and proper translation as well as ensure receipt of requested exam results and marks.
Additional Description of Duties:
Answer general and specific questions from applicants, parents, counselors and schools via email, phone and in person about admission requirements and application completion status. Work with international counselors and provide support and reports as needed.
Work with the outside vendor assuring correct mailing of decision packages abroad.
Contact and respond to applicants regarding missing or incomplete documents; determine needs for TOEFL and create notes about waivers.
Scan documents as needed into ImageNow; conduct quality control review of international freshmen applications; monitor various email accounts.
Assist in training, monitoring and supervising season temporary help to ensure quality control standards have been met.
Manage the I-20 issuance process and sending documentation to the Center for International Students & Scholars and finalize the application process on annual basis.
Assist in other office activities as needed.
High School education and computer experience using Microsoft products. Organizational skills with attention to detail are a must. Experience using imaging software (such as ImageNow), Banner, and relationship management software preferred. Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multitasking, good customer service, telephone and interpersonal skills are a must. Knowledge of educational systems and credentials preferred.
