The Department of Management at Quinnipiac University School of Business and Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor starting in August 2014.  Tenure track faculty are expected to excel at teaching, research, and service to students and the university community.

Quinnipiac University is a thriving private university with 6,500 undergraduate and 2,300 graduate students, located in Hamden, Connecticut, approximately 90 minutes from New York City and two hours from Boston. Specific job requirements include developing and teaching undergraduate and graduate-level, on-site and on-line courses in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior (HRM/OB) as well as contributions to specific University and School wide courses. The ideal candidate will support the department in guiding, advising, and mentoring students. Tenure track faculty will maintain an active research agenda that will lead to publications in nationally or internationally recognized journals.   A demonstrated ability to publish in the field of HRM/OB is required.   Service to the University community is required.

Qualifications & Special Instructions to Applicants

Minimum qualifications for candidates include: 

- a PhD in Management or related field;

- evidence of teaching effectiveness;

- evidence of the ability to publish in the field(s) of HRM and OB. 

ABDs with established teaching experience and effectiveness in addition to a well-developed research agenda may be considered.
