VA Connecticut Healthcare System and Yale University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry is recruiting a Psychiatrist with experience and interest in chronic mental illness and psychosis to work as a clinical psychiatrist providing clinical care for seriously mentally ill patients, to conduct consultation and treatment in a telemental health clinic at to work with a multidisciplinary team on clinical and laboratory studies in the field of schizophrenia and psychosis research. The position carries academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. The applicant will be expected to coordinate ongoing clinical research and to initiate their own clinical research associated with within the field of schizophrenia and psychosis research. Applicants must be board eligible or certified in psychiatry and be legally employable. Preference will be given to applicants who have relevant clinical experience in psychosis and serious mental illness, with telemental health and a history of academic productivity including publications, independent funding and be in a position to facilitate growth of a clinical research program.
