Description of Duties:
Advise the Campus Activities Board and related committees on all aspects of program development, implementation and leadership training.
Create and implement campus wide events (i.e Spring Day, Activities Fairs) in conjunction with other departments and student groups.
Oversee a program budget for CAB of over $500,000
Manage a marketing strategy for the Office as well as a social media and web presence.
Deliver a late-night, substance-free program by managing the Falcons UNite programming board.
Support the STEP program, as directed by the STEP Director in association with the Multicultural Center.
Serve on Homecoming and Commencement Week committee, serve as a facilitator for FS111, and assist in delivery of evening programs as related to First Week.
Participate in the planning and support of office-wide programs (i.e. leadership conferences, Falcon Awards, Spring Day, etc.)
Additional Description of Duties: The Program Coordinator is a live-on staff member and is provided an apartment on-campus so that they have easy access to support regular late-night and weekend programming throughout the academic year while also being accessible on campus during the execution of the STEP program in the summer.
Master's degree in Higher Education, Counseling or related field. Knowledge of student development theory, 1-2 years event/program experience preferably through a graduate program, advising student organizations in a college setting. Experience in late night programming desired. Experience in multicultural settings, diversity training programs, second language fluency, or coursework in multicultural perspectives is desirable.
