The Title III Grant Administrator position is part of the $1.88 million federal grant titled Achieving Student Success: Focused Advising and Academic Restructuring. The position is funded on a .5 FTE basis through September 30, 2015. The grant is designed to improve retention and graduation rates through enhanced coordination of academic advising and specific attention to teacher education programs by preparing for the implementation of a separate School of Education.
The Grant Administrator will monitor the budget, facilitate grant-related data collection and analysis, working with the external evaluator and the Office of Institutional Research to ensure all College-level and program specific data are available, and prepare reports for the federal government and for internal constituencies. The Grant Administrator will manage various grant activities, serving as a communication link with the Academic Advising Center, the Administrative Services unit related to implementation of the Banner Relationship Management modules, and the Deans of the School of Professional Studies and the School of Letters, Arts, and Sciences with regard to development of a School of Education. The Grant Administrator reports to the Associate Vice President of Curriculum and Academic Effectiveness.
