DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsibilities include a teaching load that focuses on a variety of Social Work courses including direct and group practice and policy.
-The position also includes academic advising; curriculum development; committee work; and service to the university.
-Program responsibilities also require advising student organizations and participating with campus and community program events. S\he will continue to engage in scholarly activities beyond those associated with teaching and is expected to demonstrate professional productivity in research, based upon the availability of resources and consistent with the mission of the University.
-Master’s of Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
-Two to five years of experience.
-Dedication to ensuring excellence in curriculum delivery, development, and improvement.
-Ability to use technology in instruction and student advising.
- Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the role of a comprehensive college in a multicultural setting.
- Involvement with recognized professional associations or organizations.
Doctorate in Social Work
-Familiarity with the process of BSW accreditation
-Ability to write and manage grants.
