The Conservatory of Music at Wheaton College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Choral Music to begin July 1, 2012. The ideal candidate will have an earned doctorate; choral experience and accomplishment in higher education; significant conducting experience; commitment to the liberal arts; an excellent record of recruitment and program building; demonstrated discipleship and spiritual maturity; and strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a highly collegial fashion. The teaching load would include conducting the Concert Choir and could also include choral conducting, choral methods, music education, and/or applied voice, depending on qualifications and experience.
