The Department of Pharmacological and Physiological Science in the School of Medicine is seeking applicants for a post-doctoral fellowship position in the field of integrative physiology. The project involves defining the role of a peptide hormone (adropin) in the control of glucose and fatty acid metabolism. Experience in one or more of the following areas are required: metabolic diseases, control of glucose/lipid metabolism in skeletal muscle, and CNS control of metabolism. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or equivalent in a relevant field (Biology, Physiology, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, etc.) and from 0 to 5 years of post-doctoral experience.
