Mt. Hood Community College seeks an innovative and participatory Executive Dean of Academic Services. The Executive Dean of Academic Services is a professional administrator with the primary responsibility of providing leadership that supports the vision, mission and strategic goals of the college.
Provides highly responsible and complex support to the Office of Instruction and Vice President (VP) of Instruction and Student Development by planning, directing and reviewing educational College instructional services in areas of assignment in a manner that supports the vision, mission, and strategic goals of the College. The Executive Dean of Academic Services works with the Vice President of Instruction and Student Development to ensure that MHCC embraces instructional best practices based on research and the examples of its “aspirational peers.”
As leader of the instructional administrators’ team, the successful candidate will ensure the strategic integration of emerging technology and contemporary business practices as well as supporting the growth of a diverse faculty/staff.
Master's degree (or higher) in Education, Educational Administration or a related field
Five years of instructional/administrative experience demonstrating satisfactory evidence of progressive administrative responsibility, with at least three years of administrative experience in post-secondary education at the dean-level or higher
