The Vice President for Academic Affairs reports to the President and as the Chief Academic Officer has responsibility for fostering and sustaining an academic culture that promotes collaboration, innovation and excellence in teaching and learning, especially among faculty. The Vice President participates in teaching and learning policy and program review and recommends changes focused on student success. This senior level position will provide vision, leadership, and overall administration for all credit and non-credit courses and programs, library services and outreach centers. Critical components of this charge are: ensuring accountability for student learning outcomes, implementing and evolving innovative and relevant programming, developing faculty and instructional staff, and leading in the strategic planning for, implementation of, and continual review of all instructional programs.
