Description of Duties: We seek a colleague with recent teaching experience to offer courses in Comparative Politics. The position requires teaching multiple sections of our introductory course in Comparative Politics. In addition, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach specialized courses in his or her thematic or regional area of interest. We would particularly welcome a colleague whose thematic/regional areas of interest fit with the department''s global focus.
The teaching load is 4 courses a semester. Typically, enrollment in all classes is capped at 30 students
Additional Description of Duties: This is a full time, non tenure-track position with the possibility of renewal.
Position Qualifications: Ph.D. or ABD is required. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated teaching excellence.
Software Knowledge: Banner and Blackboard knowledge helpful.
