Detailed Job Description

Oversees certification and disbursement of the Federal Student Loan program. Supervises and trains staff which includes the Operations Coordinator and Aviation Manager. Loads and verifies Federal Financial Aid information into the Banner Financial Aid system.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor degree in a directly related field and three years experience related to the Summary of Duties or a combination of education and/or experience totaling seven years.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge

Knowledge of federal regulations pertaining to financial aid, including needs analysis, eligibility assessment, packaging strategies, and satisfactory academic progress.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Financial Aid Banner system and related module components.
Knowledge of computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, database, power point, INTERNET tools, email systems, and other general computer skills.

Knowledge

Knowledge of federal regulations pertaining to financial aid, including needs analysis, eligibility assessment, packaging strategies, and satisfactory academic progress.

Ability to effectively provide expert knowledge, advise, training and expertise to administration, faculty, staff and students. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to research technical issues independently, learn quickly, and pay attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in regards to all federal and state regulations (i.e. FERPA, GRAMA, etc.).
Ability access to federal student aid sites.

Pay Range

$38,062 to $50,750
