Job Responsibilities

Coordinates administrative workflow of the Board Office, including:
• organizing and implementing logistics for Board of Trustees meetings, travel and other events
• preparing correspondence and other materials for the Board
• maintaining appropriate records both internally and with regulatory bodies
• making transactions for the Board Office budget and assisting Chief of Staff in budget management
• maintaining the Board of Trustees pages on all College websites
• Provides overall administrative support to the Chief of Staff as well as support to the Office of the College President
• Serves as primary point of contact for the Board Student Scholar
• Provides impeccable customer service to callers and visitors of the College, including community leaders, legislators, members of the Board of Trustees and the public
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of three years of experience in providing administrative or clerical support

• Extensive knowledge of the daily operations of an executive office
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational, time-management, follow up and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
• Experience with budget management
• Sensitivity to respond appropriately to the needs of a diverse population

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience with Banner

Work Schedule

Standard College hours of business 8:30AM – 5PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings may be required to support departmental events and functions.
